Fed: Howard says nations supporting Saddam
Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD has accused Germany, France, Russia, and China of encouragingIraqi leader SADDAM HUSSEIN.
Mr HOWARD says there'd be enormous pressure on Iraq to comply with UN resolutions ifthose countries backed the position of the United States, Britain and Australia.
He made the comments as almost all of Australia's 2,000 troops ready themselves inthe Persian Gulf for a possible war against Iraq.
